Today’s writing prompt was inspired by the Two of Pentacles from the Wild Unknown Tarot and Judgement from the Light Seer’s Tarot.
The 2/P is about adaptability, priorities, and the ability to be flexible. It brings to mind balance and change. Judgement is normally about personal evolution through self-forgiveness and reflection. So, change and reflection were top of mind for me as I looked at these cards.
What if someone’s reflection literally changed? What if you looked in the mirror and knew you were the only person seeing a different face reflected back at you? Would you tell anyone or keep it a secret? If that face was actually someone you loved, trapped on the other side of the glass, how would you adapt to life without them? Especially if you couldn’t openly mourn?
This prompt can be modified in countless ways. What do you like in the images? What do you have no response to? Does anything make you uncomfortable, or spark questions in your mind? What would you picture happening right before or after the scenes above?
